Summary

Abrahams Cottage offers excellent self catering accommodation in Langthwaite near Richmond. Our cottage is within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the perfect base for exploring the local area.

Accommodation

Our luxurious cottage overlooks the village green and enjoys glorious countryside views. The cottage has been beautifully restored to a high standard and is perfect for a romantic getaway or family break.

Inside the cottage you will find lovely features such as oak floors and whitewashed wood-panelled ceilings. The spacious living room comes with a wood burner to keep you warm and toasty. Facilities include Freeview TV, a DVD player and Bluetooth speaker. The modern farmhouse kitchen comes with a slate floor, breakfast bar, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and vaulted ceiling. A separate dining room comes with a decorative inglenook and private courtyard to enjoy some al fresco dining on.

The first floor has two bedrooms with en suite facilities. One room comes with a king and the other comes with a twin. Both rooms come with gorgeous beamed ceilings and lavish soft furnishings and bedding.

Visiting Langthwaite & Exploring North Yorkshire

Langthwaite is ideal for outdoor lovers and has lots of gorgeous walks and gentle strolls to enjoy. The area also has high mountains valleys with streams for the more avid walker. The area is popular with cyclists and the nearby Dales Bike Centre offers cycle hire. Within walking distance are two delightful pubs and the historic town of Richmond is only a 30-minute drive away. Brilliant attractions to visit in the area include:

Barnard Castle.
Bowes Museum.
The Forbidden Corner.
Aysgarth Falls.
Bolton Castle.
