The GranaryThe wonderful holiday home is a former granary barn which has been tastefully converted. The property has been thoughtfully furnished throughout and is perfect for an unforgettable holiday away. The holiday cottage sleeps up to 4 people in a super king and king size room. The master bedroom has a sumptuous open plan en suite bathroom with double ended bath with retractable shower. The second bedroom can be spilt into twin beds. There is a wall hung 26 inch flat screen TV and en suite bathroom.
The charming kitchen/dining/snug area comprises of a spacious single span room which overlooks the south facing courtyard garden. The walnut kitchen is fully equipped and includes a range of excellent appliances: integrated dishwasher, fridge freezer, touch ceramic hob, oven and microwave. There are 2 sinks as well. Leading off the kitchen is a utility room with heatwave sauna which contains light panel, aromatherapy and CD radio alarm. The dining area seats up to 6/8 people and the snug area has a sofa, 2 chairs, a wall mounted 32 inch flat screen smart TV and Sonos sound system. The property also benefits from having a sitting room with cosy sofas, wood burning stove, 40 inch smart TV, complete with freesat Humax pause and record box and speaker system. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the local area.
Outside is a spacious garden surrounded by beautiful hedges and shrubs. There is also a South facing enclosed courtyard garden with water feature, shrubs and pathways leading to a small seating pergola area catching the evening Summer sunshine. A set of double doors from the kitchen/dining area leads to large terrace area with gas barbecue, Rattan table and chairs, umbrella and cushions.
The recently finished garage serves as a games room with ping pong, table football and darts board. Guests can also use the tennis court.
The AnnexRecently The Annex was completed in addition to The Granary complex. The holiday home sleeps up to 2 people. The Annex has its own front door giving access to a cosy sitting room with a small kitchenette and eating area. When rented with The Granary a door connects you to the rest of the house, otherwise climb the stairs to the mezzanine bedroom. The en suite bedroom enjoys a chic, romantic feel and contains a super king size or it can be a twin if required.
The sitting room is cosy, comfortable and contains a flat screen TV with Hi max record able freeview. The log burning stove has glass on three sides and provides additional heat, should it be required, to the underfloor heating. The Annex has a small kitchenette available for use when it is rented as a stand alone unit. This is not extensive, but a sink, fridge, with an ice box for your whisky or G&T, a microwave and twin hob for rustling up a quick snack or breakfast.
When The Granary and The Annex are rented together, The Annex sitting room can be converted into a sleeping area – please enquire for details.
