Rose Cottage Farm offers holiday cottages situated in Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe near Thirsk in North Yorkshire. Rose Cottage Farm comprises two oak beamed separate self catering holiday cottage units which individually cater for two adults sharing. Briar and Bramble's cottage are located adjacent to each other, making the accommodation of larger parties possible by booking both cottages at the same time.

Briar Cottage

One bedroomed, beamed holiday cottage comprising a delightful bedroom (super king but single quilts can be provided) with a separate bathroom and shower on the ground floor. Upstairs there is an open plan lounge/dining area which is separated from a fully fitted kitchen by a large oak beam.

The kitchen in the self catering cottage contains a full size oven and hob, microwave, fridge with 3 star freezer compartment and comes complete with large storage cupboards. The view from the lounge overlooks the patio, pergola and open countryside.

Bramble Cottage

One bedroomed beamed self catering cottage comprising a delightful bedroom (king sized bed) with en suite shower and facilities on the ground floor. Upstairs is an open plan lounge/dining area and fully fitted kitchen.

The kitchen contains a full size oven and hob, microwave and fridge with 3 star freezer compartment. From the lounge, there is a panoramic view across the Vale of York to the Pennines.

More Information

Due to Covid-19 we ask that all guests bring their own towels. Full week stays include a welcome pack. Both cottages can be either twin-bedded or king size. We curently don't have any laundry facilities on site, but hand washed garments can be hung out to dry, or for those visitors on long stays items can be sent out for laundering.

The Herdwick is a rare breed of domestic sheep native to the Lake District of Cumbria in North West England.

The Indian Runner Duck is a breed of domestic duck. They are native to the Indian-sub-continent and Malaysia.
