Wold View Cottage offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Thorpe Bassett near Malton. Enjoying glorious views of the Yorkshire Wolds, we are perfect for a peaceful holiday.


Our wonderful property sleeps up to 4 people and is beautifully furnished throughout. The property is set in the grounds of the owner and ideal for couples and families.

On the ground floor is a lovely open plan living space with gorgeous beams and wooden floors. The living area comes with an electric wood burner, Freeview TV, DVD player and a CD player. There is also a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a range of appliances: electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A separate WC is also available. The ground floor comes with under floor heating.

The first floor has 2 bedrooms available: a double and a twin room. Both rooms come with Freeview TV. The shower room comes with a walk-in shower, WC and a heated towel rail. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside is a delightful enclosed patio with garden furniture. A wonderful spot for al fresco dining in the early evening sun. We also have an outside bike shed. A high chair is available on request.

Visiting Thorpe Bassett & Exploring North Yorkshire

Nearby are the charming market towns of Malton and Pickering. You can savour a superb trip aboard the North York Moors Steam Train. The coastal resorts of Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington are only an hourís drive away. A Post Office /Shop, pub restaurant and fish & chip shop are nearby. Lots of excellent attractions are in the local area:
