We offer our guests peace and tranquillity without being isolated from the outside world. Cawdor village, with shop and Tavern, is a short drive away and the Estate is easily accessed. Inverness and Aberdeen airports provide national and international connections and there are mainline railway stations close by at Nairn, Inverness and Aviemore. The popular seaside town of Nairn can be found nearby, famed for its dry and sunny climate, and also the attractive Highland villages of Carrbridge and Grantown-on-Spey. All around us lies the heather clad moors, pine forests, fast flowing rivers and granite mountains which the Scottish Highlands are famed for.

Achneim Cottage - Sleeps 2

This is a little gem of a cottage and is always popular with those looking for the perfect romantic break. This charming cottage is tastefully decorated and comfy. The large sitting room, with its open fireplace, is ideal for those quiet evenings. The double bedroom is spacious and a nicely appointed kitchen with adjoining utility room and bathroom provide adequate accommodation for two. The countryside one-bedroomed cottage is located close to the village and enjoys open views of the Moray Firth coastline and the Black Isle beyond.

Fisherman's Cottage - Sleeps 6

This purpose built fisherman's dwelling rests on the banks of the picturesque River Findhorn in the Drynachan valley and offers its guests splendid riverside views. The spacious sitting room and dining area boast a log-burning stove and traditional furnishings, which lend the room a cosy ambiance. A well equipped kitchen, three exceptionally spacious bedrooms (two twins and one double), and a bathroom and shower room ensure comfortable accommodation for up to six guests. Fisherman's cottage is the ideal base for guests seeking absolute tranquillity.

Ivy Cottage - Sleeps 6

This lovely three bedroomed cottage nestled at the west end of the village, has splendid views across the surrounding open countryside and is within easy walking distance of local amenities. The comfortable sitting room has many original features, including stripped wooden floorboards, double-hung sash windows and a beautifully restored Victorian open fireplace. The kitchen includes a good sized dining area. The three bedrooms offer a pleasant mix of comfort and style; one bedroom being located on the ground floor as is traditional in this style of property, with coombed ceiling bedrooms upstairs. Ground and first floor bathrooms help make this cottage both practical as well as charming. The cottage is bounded by a fenced garden, making Ivy cottage just the place for a quiet family holiday in the Scottish Highlands.

Gardener's Cottage - Sleeps 6

Our beautiful whitewashed stone cottage formerly housed the Estate gardener and lies within the wooded Drynachan Valley has breath taking views across the River Findhorn. This recently refurbished cottage offers a touch of luxury with the wilderness of the Highlands on your doorstep. The sitting room, dining room and kitchen are all equipped to a high standard and present a pleasing mix of old-worldly charm and modern convenience. Lovingly restored original Victorian fireplaces, panelled walls and stone-slab flooring are to be found throughout the downstairs rooms. The three bedrooms, two twins upstairs and a double downstairs, as is traditional in this style of property, are tastefully furnished. A well-appointed bathroom and separate shower room further complement the accommodation. Gardener's Cottage is bordered by dry-stone walls and surrounded by pine woodlands, dense grasslands and babbling burns: a Highland retreat par excellence.

Lochanshelloch Cottage – Sleeps 6

A traditional harled farmhouse, Lochanshelloch Cottage nestles on the outskirts of Cawdor village and is surrounded by peaceful woodland. This large, one-and-a-half storey cottage has been tastefully renovated to a high standard and retains many original features. Both sitting room and dining room are furnished with old-style comfort in mind, capacious sofas, stripped floorboards, chunky rugs and welcoming original open fireplaces. The farmhouse style kitchen has been fully modernised and has everything required to entertain family and friends. Three sizeable bedrooms, 1 x double and 2 x twin provide ample room for up to six guests and are complemented by a well appointed bathroom and separate shower room. Lochanshelloch sits within a large garden and is approached by private road, affording tranquil seclusion for those wishing to escape to a true Highland getaway.
