America Lodge offers self catering accommodation in Rutland, based in a scenic countryside setting. We offer accommodation in The Main House and The Granary Barn, with both perfect for a tranquil country escape.

Our 19th Century farmhouse is brimming with character and offers everything you need for a memorable stay in the country. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen that includes a cooker, dishwasher, plus seating for 10 people. The utility room houses a large fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine.

Unwind in one of the two sitting rooms. The inner room comes with comfy seating, a fireplace, whilst the large sitting room has seating, a fireplace and a TV/DVD player. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, a king en suite, a triple room, a twin room and a double room. All the rooms come with quality bed linen.

Outside there is a patio with garden furniture for al fresco dining whilst savouring the views.

Our barn conversion can be rented with The Main House or independently. The barn is great for a couple and two child beds can be provided.

We are ideal for those seeking a quiet rural retreat. It is close to the historic market towns of Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford which have some unique shops Burghley House is a supreme example of Elizabethan architecture, whilst Rockingham Castle is traditional castle with spectacular views over five counties. Rutland Water offers water sports and angling in season. Attractions to visit include:
