The Windhill Laithe Cottages are two beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages set in a delightful rural setting in Clitheroe, Lancashire. Our cottages boast spectacular views looking over the Ribble Valley and Lake District with the famous Pendle Hill as your backdrop. We are in a superb location for walking, bird watching or just simply relaxing in the idyllic countryside surroundings.

Both properties date back to 1895 and have been thoughtfully restored to offer comfort and modern facilities but retaining the charm of the era they originate.

About Tewit Cottage

Tewit Cottage is a former hay barn that sleeps up to 5, with a spacious open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area, underfloor heating, log burning stove, flat screen TV, DVD player and iPod docking station, it provides an excellent space for family gatherings.

There are three bedrooms - 1 double with feature brass bed, 1 twin and 1 single room. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin.

Outside there is parking for 2 cars and a large patio area with garden furniture.

About Badger Cottage

Badger Cottage sleeps 4 people and is a luxury barn conversion. There is an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge on the ground floor with modern facilities. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms - 1 double with feature brass bed and a twin room. There is a bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, toilet & basin.

Outside there is parking for 2 cars and again, a large patio area with garden furniture.

Visiting Clitheroe & Exploring Lancashire

There are plenty of public footpaths for you to meander along surrounding our holiday cottages and for those who are more energetic there’s Pendle Hill. The market towns of Clitheroe and Skipton are both close at hand, whilst The Lake District, York and the Yorkshire Dales, Blackpool and Manchester are all within easy reach by car.

Rates: From £395 - £550 per week depending on season and property.
Maximum of 5 people in Tewit cottage and 4 people in Badger cottage.
Children are welcome.
