Almondbank House offers superb self catering accommodation near Portree on the Isle of Skye. Our charming apartment enjoys glorious views of Loch Snizort and the Cuillins.

Accommodation

Our centrally located apartment sleeps up to 4 people and comes with its own private entrance.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a range of appliances: ceramic hob and double oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster and dining area with a dining table and seating for up to 4 people. The relaxing lounge comes with two comfortable sofas, Freeview TV with satellite, DVD player and electric fire. In the hallway there is an ironing board, clothes horse and hoover.

The double bedroom is perfect for a great night’s sleeps. A twin room is also available. Both rooms share a shower room which comes with an electric shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail. A travel cot and high chair are available but please be aware that there is an open staircase which might not be suitable for toddlers.

Visiting Portree & Exploring the Isle of Skye

Our lovely apartment is only a twenty minute drive to Dunvegan Castle or the ferry terminal in Uig. Portree is only a 10 minute drive away. Set around a natural harbour and surrounded by cliffs, this is a popular tourist destination. It enjoys great leisure facilities, including pony trekking, a swimming pool and boats cruises. Lots of shops are available and the award winning Aros Centre runs regular theatre, concert and film screenings. A number of great attractions are nearby:

Quiraing.
Lealt Falls.
Scorrybreac circuit.
Edinbane Pottery.
Somerled Square War Memorial.
