Ballagreyney Holiday Cottages consists of two holiday cottages situated on a former farm in several acres of garden at Colby, near Castletown on the Isle of Man.
Rose Cottage - Sleeps 45 Star Isle of Man Tourist Board. Rose Cottage is a two bedroom, two storey cottage with roomy accommodation for four persons. The cottage has all modern amenities including central heating and a constant supply of hot water. The comfortable sitting room is furnished to a high standard with double seater sofa and chairs and has a wood burning stove. There is a TV with Sky and a DVD player, CD player and radio.
The kitchen/diner incorporates built-in electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave oven. Both bedrooms have stunning views and vaulted pine ceilings. The master bedroom has French doors leading on to a wrought iron balcony so that you can enjoy the sunrise and has a king size double bed. The second bedroom has two 3ft single beds. The large family bathroom has a large shower and separate corner bath, WC, basin and electric shaving point, bench and storage. A plentiful supply of fresh linen, towels, kitchenware, crockery, cutlery, all of a modern and high standard. Ironing facilities provided. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and shower room/WC. There is a sun terrace immediately in front of the cottage with garden furniture and BBQ equipment provided.
Honeysuckle Cottage - Sleeps 45 Star Gold Award Isle of Man Tourist Board. This is a two bedroom, two storey cottage with roomy accommodation for four persons. The cottage has all modern amenities including central heating and a constant supply of hot water. The spacious sitting room is furnished to a high standard with two sofas, chair and coffee table. It has a stunning traditional Manx Cholagh fireplace with wood burning stove and a ship's timber across the mantle known to be at least 300 years old. There is a flat screen TV with Sky and a DVD player, CD and radio.
The kitchen/diner incorporates modern living with quaint traditional features and includes built-in Neff electric oven, hob & extractor, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave oven and coffee machine, and a dining table which seats 4. The master bedroom has a king-size double bed. It leads into a modern en suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower, WC, basin, heated mirror incorporating electric shaving point and storage. The twin bedroom has two 3ft single beds. It leads into a modern en suite shower room with large modern shower, WC, basin and heated mirror incorporating electric shaving point. There is a sun terrace and lawn immediately in front and to the side of the cottage with garden furniture and BBQ equipment provided. Ample parking near the cottage reached by a short footpath. Separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer etc.
RecreationThere is an area created especially for recreational use, such as tennis, croquet and sports equipment is provided free of charge. In addition children and adults alike will enjoy the thrill of the zip wire.
Visiting Colby & Exploring Isle of ManWe are situated about 3 miles from Castletown and about 5 miles from Port St Mary and Port Erin. The village of Colby which is only a five minute car drive away has a village shop and pub.
