Ivybank Arran

Lamlash, Isle of Arran

Sleeps 1-4
£400 - £550

Summary

The cottage adjoins the main house and is centrally located in the lovely village of Lamlash, overlooking the bay and out to Holy Isle. It is a stone’s throw from the beach and a five minutes’ walk from the pier and the departure point for the ferry to Holy Isle. The village green in front of the cottage is a great place for children to kick a ball or to sit on a bench and contemplate the view. The village is an ideal base for walking the Coastal Way and at one end of the village there are beautiful woodland walks and paths to high lochans – a doggy’s paradise.

About Ivybank Arran

This is an ideal family holiday home with a double room facing the sea and a twin at the back.

Downstairs is the kitchen/diner, living room and wet room toilet. The kitchen opens out onto an enclosed courtyard with steps up to the steeply sloping garden, which affords stunning views from the top.

Visiting Lamlash & Exploring the Isle of Arran

In the village, there are two hotels, two pubs and two teashops. We have a sporty 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, bowling green, a sea life centre and play parks.

Seals repose on the rocks in the bay and sometimes a feeding otter can be spotted.

The Isle of Arran, known as “Scotland in Miniature” has a beautiful and varied coastline, majestic peaks and ridges as well as rolling wooded hills. Valley walks, with lovely picnic spots and rivers with dipping pools, making excellent family outings.
