Summary

Ivybank Cottage Arran is attached to the main house and offers charming self catering accommodation in the lovely village of Lamlash, overlooking the bay and out to Holy Isle. It is a stone’s throw from the beach and a five minutes’ walk from the pier and the departure point for the ferry to Holy Isle. The village green in front of the cottage is a great place for children to kick a ball or to sit on a bench and contemplate the view.

Accommodation

Our delightful little cottage is ideal for sleeping a family of four. There is a cot available. The cottage is tastefully furnished and and equipped to a high standard.

Downstairs is the fully-equipped kitchen/diner, cosy living room and bathroom which includes a shower. The kitchen opens out onto an enclosed courtyard with steps up to the steeply sloping garden, offering stunning views from the top.

Two bedrooms are available, a double and a twin room. The double boasts amazing sea views, whilst the twin room is nestled at the back.

Visiting Lamlash & Exploring the Isle of Arran

In the village there is a boutique hotel with restaurant, 3 pubs and 2 tearooms. The supermarket is only a short walk. We have a sporty 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, bowling green, a sea life centre and play parks. The village is an ideal base for walking the Coastal Way and at one end of the village there are beautiful woodland walks and paths to high lochans – a doggy’s paradise. Lots of wonderful cycle paths are also nearby. Great attractions to visit include:

Isle of Arran Distillery.
Goat Fell.
Machrie Moor Stone Circles.
The King’s Cave.
