West Gorton provides charming self catering accommodation near Grantown-on-Spey. Our cottage in Inverness-shire enjoys views of open hills and the Cairngorm Mountains in the far distance, perfect for a tranquil and scenic break away.

Accommodation

Our large cottage offers modern accommodation in a countryside setting. The cottage is reached via a private road that comes with woodland and moorland.

Inside we have an open plan living/dining/kitchen area including hardwood flooring and original stone walls. The living area includes an open fire (fuel provided), sofa bed, TV and DVD player. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances including a fridge, freezer and microwave.

There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor: 1 double and 1 twin room. The bathroom comes with a bath and there is also a downstairs shower.

Outside we have an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining over a glass or two.

Visiting Grantown-on-Spey & Exploring The Highlands

You can explore the small town of Grantown-on-Spey whilst staying with us. There is a good selection of shops, hotels and pubs, plus a 9-hole golf course. Activities in the area include abseiling, high ropes, canoeing & kayaking, mini quads, mountain bike hire and archery. Attractions to visit include:

Grantown Museum.
Tormore Distillery.
Anagach Woods.
Cawdor Castle and Gardens.
Beauly Priory.
