Lapwing Rise is situated on our active croft in Banavie, a short distance from Fort William, sharing the land with our family home. Located just off the A830, known as 'The Road to the Isles,' our croft lies between the Caledonian Canal and the West Highland Railway line, famous for the daily passage of the Jacobite Steam Train (also known as the Harry Potter train) during the summer. The property boasts stunning views over the Caledonian Canal towards the Aonach Mor ski slopes, Ben Nevis (the UK's tallest mountain) and Glen Nevis.

Accommodation

The kitchen and utility room come fully equipped. The kitchen features an oven/hob, microwave and toaster, alongside a breakfast table and stools for convenience. The adjacent utility room houses a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Our dining room can comfortably accommodate eight guests and a high chair is available upon request.

For entertainment, Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, DVD and CD players, along with a selection of books and games, are at your disposal.

There are four bedrooms, each designed to sleep two guests, comprising three twin rooms and one double room with a king-size bed. Each bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom (three with shower rooms and one with a full bathroom). We provide all bed linen and towels within the rental cost.

The property features an enclosed garden area with hot tub and parking space for up to three cars.

Mobile phone reception is accessible on the premises.

This bungalow is in Banavie and is only four miles from the town of Fort William. The area offers a wealth of activities including skiing, climbing, hill walking, mountain biking, sailing, canoeing, fishing and golf. The town of Fort William has a variety of excellent facilities including a swimming pool, restaurants and large supermarket.
