For those who want a get away from it all break, our location is ideal. We are less than 2 miles from the A49 in Callow, providing easy access from which to explore the area and for visiting nearby Hereford.

About Monkhall Cottages

Our accommodation consists of 2 barn conversions (The Stables and The Granary) and nearby White Lodge on the Duchy of Cornwall Estate. The view from the cottages is stunning as you are surrounded by lush Herefordshire countryside. Guests are very welcome to explore our farmlands, with many footpaths for the enthusiastic walker. Alternatively, you can visit the duck pond which is a short stroll.

Much care and attention has been put into all three of the cottages. You will find underfloor heating, en suite bathrooms, oak beams and staircases, along with limestone flooring & kitchens that have been built and fitted by local craftsmen, to the very highest of standards.

Perfect for couples, friends and families, our accommodation can be let individually or hired collectively to sleep up to 19 people.

The Stables

Sleeps up to 7 guests in a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a twin room and a single bedroom. We also have a downstairs king size room with en suite walk-in shower, ideal for less able guests.

White Lodge

Visiting Callow & Exploring Herefordshire

For those who seek peace and tranquillity, Callow and the surrounding area is the perfect place to stay. You will find plenty of walks and cycle routes in the surrounding area to suit all abilities.

Hereford is a ten-minute drive with Abergavenny and Ross-on-Wye also being easily accessible. For book lovers, the famous 'book town' of Hay-on-Wye, home to the largest literary festival in the world, can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
