Bishopswood House provides a beautiful setting for a short break or a week long stay. Imagine the perfect weekend retreat or holiday for you and your friends and family. The whole house (which sleeps up to 27 people) and grounds can be exclusively yours. If you feel like just relaxing then you can enjoy the beautiful rose gardens and take a stroll in its surrounding 40 acres. The self catering accommodation is about 12 minutes from Ross-on-Wye in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.

Accommodation

Combining classic elegance with modern comforts, the house boasts an original sweeping staircase, glass domed hall, a Victorian Knot Garden and outside grounds. A cosy drawing room welcomes you in with a wood burner complete with a large television and free Wi-Fi, you can enjoy the privacy of Bishopswood House in the company of your favourite people.

The house features six double bedrooms: all en suite, six twin bedrooms; three with en suite and three with a shared bathroom and three single bedrooms; one with en suite and two with a shared bathroom. All rooms come with towels and bed linen. We can offer a catered service for a more relaxing stay at Bishopswood House. Our sister venue, the multi award winning pub the Mill Race, can prepare a variety of dishes from their menu ready for you to cook in our fully equipped kitchen.

Enjoy an optional drinks package which includes real ales by the barrel, local ciders, a good selection of wines or champagne.

There is plenty going on in this stunning part of the world, nearby Symonds Yat, The Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley are some of the most beautiful natural areas of the British Isles. If you are looking for a little more adventure a selection of local outdoor pursuits are available: Archery, ballooning, boating, canoeing, caving, clay pigeon shooting, climbing, farm visits, fishing - fly, golf courses, horse riding, karting, mountain biking, paint balling, pony trekking and quad biking.
