Bryn Caled Cottages are lovingly restored from former Welsh farm buildings to create two detached luxury cottages in a stunning location overlooking the picturesque village of Llanuwchllyn and the Aran Mountain. Designed with you in mind, each beautifully transformed cottage makes a stylish home-from-home that lends itself perfectly to creating unforgettable memories. Light and modern open-plan interiors are enhanced by cutting-edge technology while sumptuous beds provide the last word in holiday comfort. Once outside you’re surrounded by wildlife, lush gardens and, of course, those incredible views. A private lawn area with BBQ, and a personal hot tub complement this rural idyll.

The gateway to Snowdonia’s National Park, this is quintessential Wales – famous for hospitality, paradise for walkers and bursting with natural, cultural and historical attractions, including nearby Bala’s fishing, watersports and unmissable, exquisite restaurants.

Accommodation

We have 2 luxurious cottages available, both with wonderful hot tubs to relax in. Overlooking the Aran Mountains, we truly are perfect for the ultimate countryside retreat. Both cottages are beautifully furnished and ideal for large families which small children.

Y Beudy

Luxury two storey converted barn. Ground floor: Large double with ensuite . Wood burner. Modern open plan kitchen/living area with patio doors leading to a verandah and garden with barbecue and outdoor hot tub with breathtaking views over the countryside. First floor: One double and one with three singles. Family bathroom.

Ysgubor

Luxury two storey converted barn. Recently renovated with two large double rooms and two twin rooms, two shower rooms, family bathroom, seperate wc . Modern open plan kitchen/living area with wood burner and two patio doors leading to the garden with barbecue and outdoor hot tub, overlooking the Aran Mountains. There is also a pool table here.

Visiting Llanuwchllyn & Exploring Gwynedd

In the village of Llanuwchllyn is the Eagles Inn, a must for excellent homemade food, a cold beer and a traditional Welsh Sunday lunch. This area is a walker’s paradise and you can go for a long leisurely walk along the public footpaths from the village or even hop on the little steam train from the village to the town of Bala. Further attractions in the area include:
