The Lodge

Our renovated gamekeeper’s lodge was formerly attached to the neighbouring Sheffield Park Estate. Located in 14 acres of grounds within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of both Ashdown Forest and the South Downs National Park, we are ideal for countryside lovers. The property boasts period pieces and beautiful wallpaper taken from an 18th Century print.

Lovely features include an original fireplace, pitched roof, wooden flooring and a wood burning stove. A kitchen comes with a range for appliances and the double bed is the perfect place to rest your head at night. A bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Our magical wagon provides wonderful accommodation in the lush woods of Sussex. Surrounded by ancient bluebell woods and National Trust lands, this breathtaking setting is ideal for a romantic getaway. Rich oak cladding, floral wallpaper and the natural wood of the adjoining camp kitchen fit seamlessly into the atmospheric environment. The wagon comes with elegant interiors, running water and a comfy bed. There is an onsite flushing loo and a Swedish outdoor bath which provides the ultimate in relaxation.

Visiting Uckfield & Exploring East Sussex

You can hike or bike across miles of forest trailers and the South Downs National Park. Lewes Castle & Barbican House Museum sits within the glorious South Downs, just a few miles from bustling Brighton. Michelham Priory House & Gardens is a beautiful place to explore and boasts gorgeous grounds to explore. A variety of superb attractions are in the local area:
