About Tamarix

The accommodation contains a living/dining room with armchairs, dining table and chairs, TV/DVD unit, and radio. The shower room has an electric shower in the cubicle, toilet and bidet, hand wash basin with a mirror over, together with an electric shaver point. There are two bedrooms: the first overlooks the rear garden and has two 3' divans, together with ample wardrobe and drawer space. The second bedroom, which overlooks the front garden, has two adult sized 3' beds. There is also room for a z-bed (suitable for a child) in this bedroom. This second bedroom also has a built in wardrobe, and drawers. The recently refitted kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, built in oven and hob and fridge with freezer compartment. Whilst the utility room contains the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is off road parking for 3 cars.

Visiting Winchelsea Beach & Exploring East Sussex

Our holiday cottage is located only 150 metres from the seashore, where the beach is shingle at high tide, but sandy at mid to low tide. Tamarix is situated in the corner of the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, which offers many opportunities for walking, bird watching and cycling. The ancient towns of Rye and Winchelsea are nearby, with many more interesting places within easy reach.
