Lancombes House Cottages offer self catering accommodation located just outside of the village of West Milton near the market town of Bridport in Dorset. The self catering holiday cottages are all part of a two hundred year old converted barn and farm buildings, arranged around a courtyard. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway on your own, or with a big group, we have accommodation to suit.

Accommodation

Buckingham - Buckingham offers single storey self catering accommodation in the beautiful hills of West Dorset (wheelchair ramp available for access). There is a spacious open plan living/dining area with a fireplace and wood burning stove. At one end is a fully equipped fitted kitchen with a fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. The holiday cottage has one large double bedroom with a washbasin and one twin bedroom. There is a separate bathroom with WC and shower in each which have recently been renovated and repainted.

The Farmhouse - Comprising six bedrooms, three bathrooms (two en suite), a beautiful large, wood kitchen with a range style cooker with open plan dining area and a large lounge. Lancombes Farmhouse is perfect for large parties and groups or families who wish to rent self catering accommodation together. The Farmhouse has its own BBQ area, with gas BBQ and seating overlooking the valley down to the Jurassic Coast.

Tanglewood - Tanglewood holiday cottage has been converted from Granborough and Winslow cottages and with four double bedrooms, one twin room (one with low headroom) and two single bedrooms, provides flexible self catering accommodation for larger groups and families. Facilities include three bathrooms; two with baths, one with a power shower over the bath and the third with a power shower. The dining room has a beautiful flagstone floor with an Inglenook fireplace and a wood burning stove. The lounge has exposed beams with comfortable seating for all.

Onsite FacilitieS

Located onsite is a games room where there is a pool table, CD player, outdoor games equipment, board games, comfortable seating and a range of books.

Also located onsite is a laundry room that has a washing machine and dryer, space to dry coats and outdoor items and a sink where hand washing can take place.

Visiting West Milton & Exploring Dorset

West Milton is a lovely place to stay when exploring Dorset. There are many things to do in the local area including walking, fishing, golf and much more. Many guests enjoy visiting West Bay where there are beautiful golden beaches.
