Accommodation

Our charming cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is beautifully furnished throughout.

A lovely dinning room enjoys glorious garden views and you can also unwind in the light-filled sunroom. The cosy triple aspect living room comes with an open fire and comfy seating, ideal for relaxing in after a long walk in the countryside. A cottage style kitchen includes an aga, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

Upstairs there are 4 wonderful bedrooms: 2 large double bedrooms, one en suite, and two twin bedroom. A family bathroom is also available.

A delightful enclosed garden comes with shrubs and a lawn to the rear. This is a lovely spot for al fresco dining whilst admiring the view.

Visiting Litton Cheney & Exploring Dorset

Litton Cheney is a particularly attractive conservation village hidden deep in the Bride Valley between Dorchester and Bridport, with its harbour West Bay the location for ITV's hugely popular crime drama, Broadchurch. It is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The nearest bathing beach is just 3 miles away at Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage site. There is a pub in the village with excellent food. There is also a delightful secluded children's playground just a minute's walk away from the cottage. The area is criss crossed with footpaths and bridleways for those wanting to explore the wonderful West Dorset countryside by foot, bike or horse.
