Deer's Leap Retreat is perfect for families and groups looking for somewhere special to stay.

Downstairs the main lounge has 3 large, extremely comfy sofas arranged around an inglenook fireplace which contains a large wood burning stove. The lounge has a 50" HD flat screen TV, full sky package & a DVD player. A snug area also has a large inglenook fireplace containing a wood burning stove. It has a big comfy sofa, 2 winged back arm chairs and 1 squidgy arm chair. This room is perfect for those in your party who might like a bit of quiet time. A stereo is provided in the snug with an adaptor for iPods and MP3 players.

The dining room has 2 large oak tables that separately seat 20 or together in a T shape seat 18. Table cloths and mats are provided as well as candle sticks. There are 2 sets of china, one willow pattern and one plain white and all manner of glasses for dinner parties. The dining room also has a piano and a comfy sofa which looks out over the back garden.

Our large farmhouse kitchen is light and airy with a warm welcoming feel. It has an oil fuelled Aga which is on from mid Sept - end March. There is also a double electric fan oven with grill and 4 ring hob. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything from apple corer to food processor. You will also find cake tins, baking trays, a food mixer and a juicer. The kitchen has a table which seats 6 and 2 high chairs are provided for little ones.

Our holiday home has lovely bedrooms: All the bedrooms have been dressed individually. Each single bed has two pillows, each double bed has four. There are a mixture of feather pillows and hypo allergenic pillows throughout the house. Each bed has a feather and down quilt except daisy. All our linen is cotton.

West Anstey is the perfect base for exploring the local area. We have a unique and varied landscape, including some of the most stunning coastline and beaches to the most breath taking scenery of Exmoor. With excellent visitor attractions, superb restaurants, country pubs and tea rooms serving local produce, the choice of things to do is endless. Many great days out are nearby:

Stroll around Woolacombe Beach.
Visit Coleton Fishacre.
Explore The Donkey Sanctuary.
Visit The North Devon Maritime Musuem.
Stroll along Exmouth Beach.

Maximum of 19 people. Otherwise each sleep 4 people.
We also have a separate self catering cottage onsite which sleeps 2, please enquire.
Glamping tents are available during the summer, they have a kingsize bed. You are welcome to bring children using campbeds if you wish. Please enquire for prices.
