Accommodation

Originally a dairy farm with stables, Carlane Court has been beautifully restored to offer high-quality accommodation whilst still retaining original features, including high ceilings and original exposed beams. The properties offer a true ‘home from home’ and includes luxury bed linen, well-equipped kitchens and a variety of facilities to suit all your needs.

Upper Carlane

This fabulous 3-bedroom self-contained barn conversion sleeps 6-9 people and is perfect for a family getaway. Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen/dining area for home-cooking, a cosy lounge area and a toasty log burner for the winter months. A second lounge is great for relaxing in and comes with comfortable sofas, a TV and a DVD player.

A delightful sunroom opens onto a private garden with sun loungers and a BBQ, great for al fresco dining on a warm summer’s day. Bedrooms consist of a double room, a twin room and a bunk room with a single pull-out. The rooms share a family bathroom with a shower and a separate shower room and WC.

Lower Carlane Court

Our charming 2-bedroom apartment runs along the lower level below the main house. Inside there is a lovely kitchen/diner, perfect for cooking up a feast. A comfy lounge comes with 3 sofas and doors open onto a pretty private courtyard garden with seating and a BBQ, the ideal space for a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the afternoon sun. Bedrooms consist of 1 double and 1 twin, plus a fold-down sofa bed in the lounge. The bedrooms share a family bathroom.

The Stables

Our wonderful 3-bedroom apartment/cottage is set over two levels and perfect for a magical holiday in a great location. On the ground floor is 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk room, plus a fold-down double sofa bed in the living room. A family bathroom is also on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a spacious kitchen and a separate living/dining room with a log burner, 3 sofas, a TV and DVD player. A dining table seats up to 6 people.

The Studio

The studio is a superb mini home that is currently under construction and will be available for 2022. This property consists of a suite of rooms which will include a double bedroom, lounge area, kitchenette, luxury power shower and a private art studio.

Visiting Slapton & Exploring Devon

The quaint village of Slapton is home to two local pubs and a community shop where you can buy your daily newspaper, fresh bread and groceries. You can stroll along the beach to Torcross or walk through scenic Slapton Ley. The whole family will love visiting Babbacombe Model Village or Woodlands Family Theme Park, whilst the South Devon Railway runs stunning steam trains through the glorious landscape.
