Cheristow Farm Cottages are situated on the beautiful Hartland Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within North Devon. We are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
The CottagesThey have been converted from old stone farm buildings dating back to at least the 18th Century and contain a lot of character. Tucked quietly down a country lane they are ideally situated whether you want to walk along the cliffs on the coast paths for dramatic and breathtaking scenery, taking it easy and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life or visiting the many local places of interest. However, you decide to spend your holiday there is always the sauna and spa to spend a relaxing hour.
The Granary - Sleeps 4/5 + cotOur largest cottage with one good sized double bedroom with a king-sized bed and one bedroom with three single beds (plus another single or a cot if needed). On two floors, The Granary has beamed ceilings and a sitting room with an inglenook fireplace. French doors from the sitting room open onto the private, enclosed garden views across the fields to the sea.
The Milking Parlour - Sleeps 4 + cotA single-storey cottage for 4 in two bedrooms (plus a cot if needed), The Milking Parlour can either have two double bedrooms or one double and one twin. French doors lead from the sitting room to a private enclosed garden with beautiful views across farmland to Stoke church and the sea beyond.
The Tack Room - Sleeps 2The Tack Room is a small studio cottage with a double bed. It has a well-equipped kitchen area and a shower room with basin and w/c. It has a dining table and chairs but no separate sitting room, so suits people who plan to be out and about.
The Stables - Sleeps 4 + cotThe Stables has a double and a twin-bedded room. The open plan living space has a wood-burning stove. Outside there is an enclosed terrace and BBQ area.
The Linhay - Sleeps 4 + cotThe Linhay bedrooms can be configured as either two doubles or one double and one twin room. The open plan kitchen and living area has a wood-burning stove and there is a small sitting area outside.
The Tack Room – Sleeps 2This small studio cottage comes with a double bed, kitchen area and a shower with a basin and WC. Facilities include a table and chairs but no sitting room.
The Spa RoomThe Spa room with its hot tub and sauna is available at Christmas/ New Year and from Easter to October half term.
