The Farmhouse - Sleeps 20Past enchantingly English scenery, down a long drive, Brosterfield Farmhouse does just that: give you a deliriously lovely view of Derbyshire’s Peak District. For large groups and families, this is rustic England padded with high living. Stone walls, old oaks, endless lawns and a tyre swinging from a tree. The house sleeps 20, the gleaming kitchen’s open-plan, the soft furnishings are ready to sink into, the Sky TV multi-room comes with movie channels, and there’s a cinema room with projector TV. In the lounge, the woodburner crackles a family-friendly welcome. Outside, the old oaks stare at the horizon as you invade the lawn. There’s croquet or cricket to be played, a football net, and swings to help you let go of your cares. Refuel with fresh local fare concocted on the double range oven and gather around the conservatory’s U-shaped table, or on the picnic benches, to chomp and chat. Pass the time with games of pool, with books and blockbuster movies.
The Old Dairy - Sleeps 6This cottage has been restored personally, to ensure care is taken with every detail to create the perfect luxury country holiday for all our guests. Under the old oak beams of the Old Dairy, sink into the comfort of the cushioned sofas in front of the wood burner’s soft glow as the underfloor heating warms you through the oak flooring. Flick on the flat screen TV and DVD player to watch your favorite soap or connect to the free WiFi to stay in contact with work or stream a film. The open plan ground floor provides the perfect space for entertaining and getter together with friends and family.
Shippon Cottage - Sleeps 6The open plan ground floor is the perfect space for entertaining and getting together with family and friends. Feel the warmth of the underfloor heating coming through the oak flooring of the ground floor as you put your feet up and flick on your favorite film on the flat screen TV and DVD player, or connect to the free WiFi to stay in contact with work, family and friends. Light up the fire with our complimentary basket of logs, from mid September - mid April The utility room provides an additional toilet, wash basin and perfect space to house all of your muddy boots and coats after a long days walk.
Brewers Cottage - Sleeps 2Arrive through the entrance hall that leads into the lovely open plan kitchen and living area. Open the blinds to let the natural light flow in through the windows spanning the wall of the living area. Flick on the TV to watch your favorite channel and cuddle up on the winged chair and sofa for a well earned rest. Connect to the free WiFi to stay connected with work or stream a film on your laptop.
Brosterfield Suite - Sleeps 2After a long day enjoy a well earned rest in the beautifully furnished Brosterfield Suite. Settle back in the comfort of the cushioned chairs around the table while sipping on a warming cup of tea and nibbling on a slice of Bakewell pudding. Relax in the warmth of water in the modern, tiled en-suite shower room with underfloor heating. Then end the day in the comfort of the kingsized bed with deep mattress and soft cotton sheets while watching your favourite soap on the large 37” LCD TV mounted to the wall. Connect to the Free WiFi to stay connected with work or stream a film on your laptop.
Bertie's Retreat - Sleeps 2Take a step back from everyday life to enjoy life’s simple a luxury bespoke Shepherds Hut with high quality shower room and wc. Well equipped kitchen area fixed double bed and double sofa. Real log burning stove and additional heating on a thermostat. 32" flat screen TV with built in DVD player. Private outdoor walled garden area with seating and private parking for 2 cars. Far reaching views across the valley.
Brosterfield Cottage - Sleeps 2The living kitchen in Brosterfield Cottage has a flame-effect convector set within a limestone fire surround, a comfortable suite, Captain’s dining chairs with limed wooden table and a colour television. Oak stained beams add to the atmosphere as do the French oak kitchen units. There is a fitted electric cooking hob, a modern fitted convection oven with grill, toaster, refrigerator, microwave and electric kettle. Towels, tea towels, crockery, cutlery, pans, iron, ironing board, drying rack, vacuum cleaner and dusters are all provided.An open staircase with high picture window leads up to the bedroom which takes advantage of the view. The single beds can be easily placed together at the guest's option. There is a walk-in wardrobe area. A waxed pine dressing table is in place and a feature is the co-ordinated fabrics of the curtains, bedding etc. (duvet style bedding/sheets/pillowcases are provided). The bathroom affords a bath and a separate shower cabinet.
Digby’s Hut – Sleeps 2Our traditional country retreat overlooks the stables and courtyard. The eco friendly hut comes with a wonderful wood-fired hot tub to relax in. Inside there is a well-equipped kitchen area, fixed double bed and a double sofa. A 32’’ flat screen TV comes with a built in DVD player. The en suite shower room has a WC. Outside there is a gorgeous walled garden area with seating.
WeddingsBrosterfield Farm offers you a fabulous wedding venue in possibly one of the most beautiful locations in the Peak District. We are an exclusive use venue, entirely dedicated to your wedding for the whole weekend.
ActivitiesAt Brosterfield Farm, Peak District National Park, we can provide these challenging yet fun team-building activities for your company, learning and development course, or simply as an energiser for your conference or meeting. The activities are also an amazing adventure for a group of friends or family.
