Gill Beck, a lovely pink washed Cumbrian cottage, is set in a stunning beck side location near the centre of Caldbeck, a delightful and historic village on the northern fringe of the Lake District National Park. The cottage offers guests a bright and comfortable environment with the personal touches that only a second home can give.
AccommodationOur spacious double aspect sitting room comes with a living flame gas fire and French doors opening onto the garden. The sitting room comes equipped with a TV/DVD player with Sky Freeview, CD player and radio.
A spacious, chicken-themed kitchen comes with a double electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washing machine (and tumble dryer in outside garage). A cloakroom comes with a WC and wash basin.
On the first floor is a master bedroom with super king zip/link double bed.
Bathroom with bath and overbath shower, WC, basin, heated towel rail and fan heater.
Outside there is a small private garden and patio at rear of cottage overlooking open fields. Garden furniture is provided, perfect of al fresco dining.
Visiting Caldbeck & Exploring CumbriaCaldbeck, an oasis of peace and quiet but complete with pub only 50 yards away, shops and 2 Cafes, is within easy reach of Bassenthwaite lake, the peaks of Blencathra and Skiddaw, the market towns of Keswick and Penrith - and the Solway.

Rates: £345 to £660 per week depending on season. There is a 2 person reduction except in peak season.
Friday is changeover day unless pre-arranged.

Private parking for 1 car at the front of the cottage.
