Our wooden coach house has been lovingly converted to offer high-quality accommodation in a tranquil location. We are nestled away behind a big gate and down a long drive, an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
This luxurious property comes with an open plan living and dining area with whitewashed walls and comfy seating covered in sheepskins and merino wool cushions. A wood burner will keep you warm and toast on a chilly evening. A well-equipped contemporary kitchen comes with a range of excellent appliances to suit all your needs, including a Nespresso coffee machine.
A double bed is on the mezzanine floor which is reached by a ladder. Pretty fairy lights, linen from The White Company and a deluxe mattress complete the area’s lavish feel.
Walks to The Old Man of Coniston start from the gate. The village is only a 5-minute walk away and has a selection of pubs. Chesters by the River and The Drunken Duck are both a 15-minute drive away. A selection of Michelin Star restaurants, gastro pubs and cosy cafes are nearby. Taxis can be booked should you need them. You can enjoy a variety of activities in the local area, including water sports, cycling, off-roading and horse riding. Lots of attractions are in the local area, including:
