San Ging, translating to "Mountain View", is an architect-designed detached self catering property situated in an elevated location on the edge of the town centre of Keswick in the Northern Lake District. The property has stunning views over Keswick, the nearby Northern Lakeland fells and Bassenthwaite Lake in the distance. Spa membership is included in the price.

About San Ging

San Ging is built into a hillside overlooking Keswick and the Northern fells. Entering the house there is a cloakroom with wc and basin & a double garage, which contains a utility area with washer and dryer. Stairs lead to the large dining kitchen which has french doors on to a small south-west facing balcony with lovely views. The kitchen has the full range of built in units with all the usual appliances including a gas range cooker and dishwasher, and has a large dining table seating eight.

A short flight of stairs brings you to the main floor, home to a very large, bright sunroom, providing a perfect area for reading or simply relaxing. This leads out to the south facing patio with gas BBQ & outdoor dining.

A final set of stairs leads to the top floor and the stunning lounge with amazing views. A flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo are there for entertainment and wi-fi is available for your convenience.

San Ging has four bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 people.

The master bedroom is very spacious and has lovely views from the dual aspect windows. There is a king size bed, plenty of storage, with a built in wardrobe and dresser, and a colour television. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower, wc and basin.

Situated beside the master bedroom is the twin room with built in wardrobes, drawers and views on to the garden. Adjacent is the house bathroom with large shower and free standing bath, wc and basin.

The top floor includes the double bedroom which is another dual aspect room with great views and a king size bed. There is a large wardrobe for storage and french doors on to the garden.

Finally, the bunk bedroom is situated beside the double room and has a bunk bed and drawer storage.

Local Area

San Ging is situated approximately 0.75 miles from Keswick town centre. Keswick is a lively town with a cinema, leisure centre, theatre, museum, galleries, beautiful parks, a wide variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The nearest lake, Derwentwater, is approximately 1.5 miles from the property. Keswick Launch Company runs boat trips around the lake and hires rowing and motor boats.
