Bere Island Holiday Homes are a collection of self catering holiday cottages located on Bere Island, with wonderful scenic views of Laurence Cove harbour, marina and Bantry Bay. The holiday cottages are situated in Ardagh near Baeara. Our cottages in Co Cork can sleep up to 24 people when hired together which is perfect for family reunions or other large groups or gatherings.

About Bere Island Holiday Homes

There are 3 self catering holiday cottages available:

House No 1 has a double and a single bed in bedroom 1. Each of the other 3 bedrooms have double beds. 2 bedrooms are en suite.

House No 2 has a double and a single bed in bedroom 1, a double bed in bedroom 2 and 2 single beds in each of bedrooms 3 and 4. One bedroom is en suite.

House No 3 has a double bed in each of bedrooms 1 and 2 and two single beds are in bedrooms 3 and 4. One bedroom is en suite. The houses can sleep up to 9 people depending on the make up of a group.

All of our holiday cottages are tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and have a modern and contemporary feel. The lounges have a 28 inch wide screen TV and DVD player. A BBQ and patio furniture can be found outside in the gardens and the kitchens are fully equipped with all utensils and appliances you may need during your stay.

On request we can also supply a high chair and a travel cot if required.

Local Island

Bere Island, nestles snugly under Sliabh Miskish and the Caha Mountains of the Beara Peninsula, beautifully hugging the northern shore of the magnificent Bantry Bay. It is a charming island with an air of peace and tranquillity which is unsurpassed in this part of the world. It is serviced by two licenced ferries sailing frequently to the Pontoon (near the golf course) and Castletownbere. The island is seven miles long and three miles wide and has many of the Beara Way Walking loop routes.

Rates: €500 to €800 per week depending on season.
Maximum of 9 people in largest property.
Maximum of 24 people when all the properties are booked together.
Children are welcome.
Pets are allowed.
Disabled facilities by arrangement - please enquire for details. Ok for limited mobility, not ideal for wheelchair use.
