Kerridge End Holiday Cottages are located in the grounds of Kerridge End House, a Grade II listed building and former Gentlemanís residence, in the conservation area of Rainow village. The self catering cottages are just a few miles from Macclesfield in Cheshire and also only an hour from the city of Chester.
The StablesAn enchanting conversion of Grade II listed stables into a luxuriously appointed ground floor apartment which is superbly equipped with a double steam shower enclosure and jet spa bath. There is an open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area, all fully equipped. There is one bedroom that can sleep 2 people.
The Coach HouseThis self catering cottage is a beautiful and luxurious conversion of the old coach house. The lounge is comfortably furnished. There is a well equipped breakfasting kitchen and a separate dining room. One twin bedded room and one double bedroom with en suite facilities as well as a family bathroom. Twin beds can be linked if required.
The HayloftThis holiday cottage is a spacious luxury conversion, with exposed beams has a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Two further bedrooms both en suite, one with bath and steam shower enclosure and the other is equipped as a wet room with disabled facilities. There is a large lounge and well equipped modern kitchen, which opens to the dining room. The property apart from one bedroom is all on one level. Twin beds can be linked if required.
Visiting Rainow & Exploring CheshireWe are located on the edge of the village of Rainow, which is on the western edge of the beautiful Peak Park. Rainow has one pub serving traditional pub food. There are many pretty villages with fine pubs, shops and restaurants within easy reach. The local market towns of Macclesfield, Bakewell, Buxton, Ashbourne and Leek, which provide shopping and sightseeing opportunities, are within easy driving distance.
Further afield we have the historic city of Chester approximately one hour's drive away. Similarly Liverpool is also approximately one hoursí drive away. There is a local bus service to Macclesfield which is less than two miles away. Trains run from Macclesfield, which is on the main line from London, for the short journey to the bustling city of Manchester, with its many galleries, museums and theatres, alternatively a forty minute drive will take you to the heart of Manchester or to Legoland Discovery Centre which is located in The Trafford Centre. Alton Towers Resort and Theme Park is approximately 50 minutesí drive away
While staying at Kerridge End Holiday Cottages you will have the opportunity to enjoy what the National Trust describes as Cheshire's Magnificent Seven: Tatton Park, Lyme Park, Dunham Massey, Little Moreton Hall, Biddulph Gardens, Styal Mill and The Edge and Cheshire's Gardens of Distinction. Other historic houses such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Capesthorne Hall, Adlington Hall, Gawsworth Hall and Arley Hall are also located nearby. All these are within 40 minutesí drive of the cottage.
