Penyrallt Fach provides comfortable, traditional style accommodation in what was originally a 19th Century piggery. The self catering cottage is on a secluded organic working dairy farm overlooking the beautiful Teifi Valley, West Wales. Wood fired hot tub in the garden.
About The CottageThe accommodation is on one floor and comprises a fully equipped kitchen/dining/sitting room with a very efficient wood burning stove.
There is a large farmhouse table with seating for 4 and in the sitting room area, there are 2 comfortable sofas in which to relax after long summer days on the beach or invigorating walks in the hills. Many books and board games are provided, also a radio and a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs, there is no TV reception however there is free Wi-Fi.
There are two bedrooms which are simply and attractively furnished with a double bed and twin beds respectively, which have been handcrafted by the owners using timber harvested from the farm's sustainably managed woodlands.
The cottage is adjacent to the 17th Century farmhouse and a fine range of farm buildings, all of which are Grade II listed.
Penyrallt Fach has an enclosed lawned garden and overlooks a paddock with a large pond.
All fuel, central heating, electricity, bed-linen & towels are included in the charge.
The water supply to the farm and cottage comes from pure, natural springs which rise at the top of the farm.
Visiting Pentre-Cwrt & Exploring CarmarthenshireThis particular corner of West Wales is perfectly situated for visiting the glorious coastline of Cardigan Bay, the Cambrian Mountains and the spectacular scenery of Pembrokeshire and the coast-path of the Pembrokeshire National Park.
As well as super beaches and hills there are many wonderful historic sites to visit. The area abounds in ancient sites, burial chambers, forts and superb castles - reminders of Wales’ ancient and turbulent past.
There are many lovely gardens such as Aberglasney and Picton Castle and the National Botanic Garden of Wales to visit and also several National Trust properties.
