Buchan Ness Lighthouse Holiday in Boddam offers outstanding self catering accommodation, nestled in a stunning setting. Our cottages are located at the base of a lighthouse, surrounded by incredible scenery. We are close to Peterhead and less than an hour’s drive from Aberdeen, perfect for an unforgettable holiday in Aberdeenshire.

Skerry Cottage

Our cottage is based on the north side of the lighthouse and is well-equipped to a high standard. Inside there is a living room with an open fire, TV and DVD. A well-equipped galley-style kitchen comes with a range of appliances and offers access to the decking area that enjoys sea views.

The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms share a bathroom with a roll-top bath and over bath shower.

Dudonnie Cottage

This cottage comes with a living room that offers sea views. Facilities include a coal fire, TV and DVD player. A spacious kitchen/dining room has seating for 6-8 people. Kitchen appliances include a dishwasher, split-level oven/grill and coffee maker.

Bedrooms consist of a king room and a twin room. The rooms share a bathroom with a shower over bath.

Our cottages are ideally placed for discovering all that the area has to offer. Visit the sandy beaches, golf courses, castles and museums. Nearby sea angling/boat trips are available, offering a variety of sea birds to see, including puffins, gullimuts, razorbills, cormorants and shags. Attractions to visit include:

Slains Castle.
Peterhead Golf Club.
The Bullers of Buchan.
