About Beech House

Great care and attention has been paid throughout, to ensure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable place to stay. There are atmospheric period features and carefully selected antique furniture which features throughout the private apartments. Alternatively, guests can choose to stay in one of our mews houses, which offer contemporary, stylish designs. All accommodation includes:

Apartment 1 – One Bedroom Suite: A characterful one bedroom, ground floor suite that looks out onto landscaped gardens. It has stunning dιcor and furnishings, including a period fireplace, 19th century mahogany card table and ornate 1920’s bedside tables.

Apartment 2 – One Bedroom Suite: Located on the lower ground floor of the main house, this apartment has the added luxury of its own private patio. Osborne & Little curtains lead the interior design, with jade wallpaper and muted fabric on the 50's inspired sofa.

Apartment 3 – Junior Suite: A stylish, Junior Suite that has a south-facing bay window looking out onto a huge copper tree. Full of character, this tastefully appointed suite is perfect for those who want a relaxing and comfortable base from which to explore Bristol.

Apartment 4 – One Bedroom Suite: An elegant suite that combines modern amenities with Victorian charm. It has high ceilings, a Juliet balcony and a dual aspect bedroom which faces the landscaped gardens to the rear of the property. The luxurious fittings and furnishings add to grandeur of the suite.

Apartment 5 – One Bedroom Suite: This super comfy apartment has a wonderful neutral dιcor and a very stylish feel. Offering a bright, airy and spacious living space with a Juliet balcony overlooking the landscaped gardens, makes this apartment a lovely place to relax. It features high ceilings throughout, an original marble fireplace and a collection of vintage and antique pieces which complete the design.

Apartment 6 – Junior Suite: Perfect for business guests or a couple, this beautiful apartment is full of character and has a beautiful south-facing bay window which fills the living space with light. As per the other apartments, the suite is full of period charm and has the original window shutters, marble fireplace and embroidered floral damask curtains which set the tone and atmosphere for the apartment.

Apartment 7 – Two Bedroom Suite: Suitable for friends and families, this first-floor apartment is brimming with character and is a peaceful haven for those visiting Clifton. The larger double bedroom is tucked away in the eaves, whilst the second double bedroom is accessed off the hallway. Please note that the bed larger bedroom can be made into a twin room on request. Just like the other accommodation you will find carefully selected furniture throughout, featuring vintage and contemporary pieces alongside 18th century antiques.

Apartment 8 – One Bedroom Suite: A first floor apartment which has its own unique charm. It has an original period marble fireplace, high ceilings, cornicing and sash windows as well as a beautiful vintage crystal chandelier, giving the apartment a chic and luxurious feel.

Apartment 9 – Junior Suite: As per the other suites, this has a double bed in the main living room which is screened off to create a separate sleeping space. The suite has a lovely view and a beautiful south0-facing window which allows the light to flood in during the day. bright and airy apartment with plenty of character thanks to its Victorian-style cornicing and stylish furnishings. Spectacular patterned velvet curtains set the colour scheme, with textured wallpaper and a ’50s lead crystal chandelier taking centre stage.

Apartment 10 – Standard Studio: A haven of tranquillity, this second-floor apartment enjoys far-reaching views out to an old church in the distance and is nestled in the eaves of the Victorian villa. funky 50’s-style sofa upholstered in turquoise, red and pale blue add bold colour to the living space and an extending table by the window provides the perfect place to enjoy a meal.

Apartment 11 – One Bedroom Suite: Everything you need is on hand in this fully equipped apartment. Tucked away on the second floor, it is a peaceful place to unwind after a busy day working or exploring the local area. Luxurious floral designer curtains set the tone for the interior furnishings, with soft colours picked out in the sofa fabric and a vintage crystal chandelier adding a touch of glamour.

Apartment 12 – Deluxe Studio: With two front-facing sash windows, looking onto a huge copper beech tree, this elegant studio offers a light-filled, airy space within which to relax. Set of the second floor, this charming apartment has plenty of character thanks to its high ceilings and beautiful fireplace. Bespoke and hand-picked furniture include a buttoned banquet and walnut table where you can sit and work or enjoy a meal.

Apartment 13 – Superior Studio: This characterful, cosy studio is tucked away on the third floor of the main villa in the eaves, offering a tranquil space within which to unwind. With, far-reaching views over Clifton to the rear of the building and a Velux window, you will be able to enjoy a bright and airy living space. Teal embroidered linen blinds lead the interior design, with soft furnishings in muted tones and period pieces such as a Dutch 19th century chest of drawers add character.

Apartment 14 – One Bedroom Suite: Just like Apartment 13, this Superior Studio is set on the third floor in the eaves and enjoys lovely views. A bold floral Osborne & Little blind embroidered with a tulip design adds a splash of colour and character, with more muted tones used in the sofas and on the walls.

Mews House 1 & 2: Suitable for families, these striking two-bedroomed houses are the epitome of stylish, contemporary design. With large cedar-cladded private balconies offering peaceful views, these elegant town houses benefit from spacious, airy living areas. The beds in the second bedroom can be split into twin beds if required

Visiting Clifton & Exploring Bristol

Beech House is only a five-minute walk to the shops of Clifton Triangle and Park Street where you can purchase all your essentials. Clifton Village, with its elegant Georgian terraces and world-famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, is just a 15-minute walk. Plus the large open space, The Downs, is also within walking distance for you to get some fresh air.
