Shielbrae House offers charming self catering accommodation in the village of Cambusbarron. We are based in the heart of central Scotland and a great base for exploring Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Accommodation

Our spacious Victorian farmhouse is based in beautiful countryside and sleeps up to 16 people, great for family gatherings, corporate days out and stag and hen parties. The house offers lots of original features whilst offering modern accommodation. There is off road parking for six vehicles.

Inside we have living rooms with wood-burning stoves and beautiful views. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes an original Aga stove. There are a mixture of bedrooms available which are suitable for families. We have a games room which is perfect for group gatherings.

Outside we have a patio and BBQ, great for a morning coffee whilst enjoying the views over the open fields. Soak yourself in the large hot tub.

Visiting Cambusbarron & Exploring Stirling

Whilst staying with us you can visit lots of attractions in the area. Nearby there are lovely walks around the North Third Reservoir or the local countryside. Visit historic Stirling Castle or see the large range of animals at Blair Drummond Safari Park. Attractions to visit include:

The Wallace Monument.
The Bannockburn Heritage Centre.
The Kelpies.
The Falkirk Wheel.
The Bannockburn Rotunda.
