"Next Door" is a 4 bedroomed detached holiday home in the attractive village of Dilton Marsh Just off the A36 between Bath and Warminster and 1 mile from the Somerset border. This house has chickens and sheep for neighbours, ample parking and countryside instead of motorways.

The cottage sleeps 8 + 2 in comfort but we can offer extra accommodation for up to 4 in our B&B next door.

Enjoy visiting Avebury, Bath, Bristol, Castle Combe, Frome, Glastonbury, Lacock, Longleat, Marlborough, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Stourhead, Wells and Wilton. National Trust Properties and English Heritage sites abound!

Visit unique shops in Bath, Devizes and Salisbury. Splash out in shopping centres like The Mall Cribbs Causeway Bristol, Clarke's Village in Street and McArthur Glen Designer Outlet centre Swindon.

Return each day to the comfort of this pretty house and throw open the French windows for a barbeque, or on those cooler evenings let the instant flame fireplace provide cosy warmth.

The house has recently been extended and totally refurbished, and comprises:

Dilton Marsh is a thriving vilage with a pub, Post Office, hairdresser, grocery, fish and chip shop, and Chinese takeaway!

Opposite the house is a sports field and children's play area. There are many walks locally and good pubs and restaurants with excellent food surround the village.

The Village has good transport links with a local bus service and a rural request stop train station made famous by John Betjeman's poem on the subject. Nearby Westbury has a mainline station with direct links to Paddington and Waterloo (90 mins).

Rock – 2 bedroom : The Rock style lodge is a beautiful 2 bedroom house, spreadover 900sqft. Two stunning bedrooms upstairs overlook the views, one with a balcony to enjoy a morning coffee and take in the country air.

The bedrooms have been designed with luxury in mind, sumptuous 6ft beds, crisp Egyptian linen and white towels with dressing gowns for all guests.

All the furniture throughout the house is solid oak furniture. The rooms can be both doubles or twins.

The upstairs bathroom has both separate shower and a bath with ample storage space.

The kitchen has all the appliances to make your holiday as perfect as possible including a microwave, a washer dryer, dishwasher and a large fridge freezer.

The sitting room with plenty of seating and designed beautifully with rich cosy colours, has a flat screen TV, sky, DVD player and a stereo, DVDs are available on request, please do ask.

Padstow – 4 bedroom : The Padstow style lodge is a beautiful 4 bedroom house, spreadover 1800sqft. Two spacious sitting rooms on both floors of this lodge make it fantastic lodge for a large family or two families to share.

The sitting rooms with plenty of seating are designed beautifully with rich cosy colours, flat screen TV’s, sky, DVD players and a stereo, DVDs are available on request, please do ask.

There are two bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs a;; designed with luxury and space in mind, three with sumptuous 7ft beds, one with bunks or a double bed, crisp Egyptian linen and white towels with dressing gowns for all guests.

All the furniture throughout the house is solid oak furniture. The rooms can be both double or twins. The upstairs bathroom has a large separate shower, whilst the downstairs family bathroom has both a large shower and separate bath, double vanity basin with ample storage space.

The Kitchen has all the appliances to make your holiday as perfect as possible including a oven and hob, microwave, a washer dryer and a large fridge freeze.

The dining table seat 8/10 and is perfect for a great family meal in the evening after a great day outdoors.

Retallack Resort and Spa – leisure Facilities : Relax in the haven and tranquillity of the Retallack Spa, where you can enjoy pool opening out onto a beautiful sun deck perfect for a lazy day in the sun, or relax in the beautifully designed Steam room or Sauna.

The spa’s treatment rooms are a calming space for you to indulge your senses. After pampering yourself, visit the Spa Bar for a relaxing drink or lunch.

You can also enjoy a game of tennis on one of two hard tennis courts or have a round of golf on our 9 hole par 3 gold course. Let the children enjoy themselves on out Pirate ship or trampoline.
