This is a lovely house with a kitchen, conservatory and sitting room leading onto a large garden with ample parking facilities.

This four bedroomed bungalow has oil fired central heating, TV, VCR, playing area for children and cot supplied. Bed linen and towels also supplied.

This is an ideal location from which to explore the Cork and Kerry regions. We cater for small or larger numbers and as a result the prices are negotiable.

Idle Hours Cottage is set on half an acre, with a large lawned garden, within strolling distance of St Helens – long sandy beach. This beach makes for a wonderful walk to Rosslare Harbour (1 mile walk, 2.5 mile by road) or Carne (5 miles walk). Locally there is an 18 hole golf course, golf driving range and horse riding centre. Boats for sea angling can be chartered from Kilmore Quay, which also offers a ‘Padi’ diving course. There are excellent restaurants in this region and good local pubs. A very good area for beach walking, golfing, touring and generally relaxing.

Accommodation consists of :

Kitchen : 4 ring stove, dish washer, fridge, grill, microwave, oven, washing machine.

Dining : dining area, seating for 6 people.

Bathrooms : 1 with Toilet, Bath with Shower.

Bedrooms : Bedroom 1 - 1 Double Bed Bedroom 2 - 2 Single Bed Bedroom 3 - Bunk Beds, 2 Single Bed.

Lounge : With fireplace, seating for 6 poeple.

Facilities include : CD, DVD, TV, stereo system, garden, parking, garden furniture, central heating, linen & towels.

Oil fired central heating is provided free of charge. Electricity is metered by way of a €2 coin meter.

Tara Cottage is a delightful compact traditional cottage dating back to the 1860’s recently modernised but still retaining its original charm. Three minutes walk from the pretty rural village of Doon with its shops and seven pubs.

Close to Tipperary town, Limerick, Clare and the West. Enclosed garden, scenic drives. Riding, Golf, Tennis, Swimming, Fishing Available all year.

With spectacular views over the waters of Lough Derg, our Pumphouse Cottage is surrounded by acres of beautiful, rolling farmland. It’s a place to go for peace, quiet and landscapes that make you smile, whatever the weather. Our house is perfect for those who want to wake up to the sounds of birdsong, the gentle murmur of cows and not much else.

Surrounding area: Sitting on the border of Co. Clare and Co. Tipperary, the house is just a mile away from ‘Lough Derg Way’, a walking route that takes you all around the lakeshore. It is just 10 minutes drive to the pretty lakeside towns of Killaloe, and Dromineer, both of which host a range of arts, music and boating festivals during the year. Our house is also just three miles from Gary Kennedy, the ancestral home of the famous US president, John Kennedy, which has changed very little in hundreds of years, and is now a centre for Irish music.

Accommodation and facilities: With the exterior of a modern Irish cottage, the interior features a large open-plan living area which opens up two storeys to the roof on one side, with a mezzanine level on the other. The cottage has wooden floors throughout, and includes two double bedrooms downstairs, a fully-equipped, modern kitchen, CD player and radios, TV and DVD (with a wide range of movies for all ages), a huge bath and powerful shower. A third bedroom is available on the open mezzanine level upstairs. A cot with bedding, high chair, a bottle steriliser and a range of toys for young children are available if required, as well as children’s beds.

Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided, and will be cleaned and laid out before and after your arrival. You can help yourself to tea and coffee, and if you’re arriving late, we will make sure you have milk, bread and other basics to keep you going before you get to visit the closest shop (2 miles away).

Things to do: You’ll find plenty of games, DVDs, jigsaws and books in the house to keep you amused, and a stack of information about local attractions and activities for when you want to go out.

Only 50 minutes drive from Shannon Airport, the cottage is a great base for walks (including up to the cross at the top of the hill), as well as for day-trips across the West of Ireland. But there is plenty to do locally, including boat trips, fishing, sailing, water sports, golf and explorations of Irish history – the area is the seat of the last King of Ireland, Brian Boru.
