We are located at Butterstone and just a short drive from Dunkeld.

Wester Riechip

Wester Riechip is a luxuriously appointed property, sympathetically modernised to provide superb facilities whilst retaining the charm and elegance of Victorian Highland country living. The bright and spacious rooms of this 19th Century Shooting Lodge, which comfortably accommodates eight people, offer spectacular views. By day the lush green fields and majestic hills of Highland Perthshire roll out before you and by night the lights of the Fair City of Perth can be seen twinkling in the distance.

Leduckie Cottage

Leduckie Cottage is a small detached farmhouse surrounded by the peaceful and gently rolling hills of Highland Perthshire, with stunning views across the lochs of Butterstone, Craiglush and the Lowes. Accessed by private tarmac road Leduckie provides the ideal base for that tranquil 'away from it all' holiday for up to six people and, understandably, is one of our most popular properties. Early booking is strongly advised.

Craigton Cottage

Craigton Cottage, a listed building situated just off the main Dunkeld to Blairgowrie (A923) road at the east end of the village of Butterstone, was completely renovated in 1988 to provide fully modernised accommodation for two. Craigton Cottage makes an ideal base for touring, golfing, fishing walking and bird watching holidays. Whilst staying at Craigton Cottage you can enjoy the private facilities at Laighwood, including a game of squash on our private court or a spot of fly fishing for wild brown trout on our private hill loch.

Craigend Cottage

Craigend Cottage is a traditional stone built detached cottage located just 2.5 miles from Butterstone village but surrounded by open moorland. The cottage provides stunning views of the Perthshire countryside and offers a tranquil location for those who enjoy getting away from it all. Craigend Cottage, which sleeps four people, is an ideal base from which to explore and enjoy this breathtaking part of Highland Perthshire.

Local Area

You don't have to try too hard to find places abounding with natural wonders. Perhaps best known of all is the Scottish Wildlife Trust's reserve at Loch of the Lowes, just a couple of miles out of Dunkeld. Famous above all for its ospreys, it also boasts a wonderful array of native wildlife, flora and fauna, in a truly magical location. Other locations such as the Hermitage offer the chance to see salmon trying to jump the falls of the River Braan, set among spectacular woods which boast one of the UK's highest trees. The ancient Birnam Oak, meanwhile, tells a story that is hundreds of years old.
