Onedin Cottage offers superb self catering accommodation close to the village of Longhope on the Isle of Hoy in Orkney. The charming holiday cottage combines all the comforts of a modern bungalow yet retains its unique character as a traditional building.

Accommodation

The holiday cottage has two large public rooms one boasting an open fire. These rooms offer comfortable seating, a TV and a radio.

The kitchen is fully equipped offering everything you will need including a microwave, washing machine, toaster, oven, cutlery, crockery and utensils.

There are two bedrooms sleeping up to five people. One bedroom has a double bed and a single bed and the second bedroom has bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath, overhead shower, toilet and wash basin.

Our holiday cottage is in a central location making it an ideal base for those who enjoy walking, cycling or touring the beautiful island of Hoy. Hoy is very rich in history with sites that date from prehistoric times to the 20th Century. Hills and stunning sea cliffs offer excellent hill walking and bird watching opportunities. Brilliant attractions to visit include:

Skara Brae Prehistoric Village.
Ring of Brodgar.
Old Man of Hoy.
St Magnus Cathedral.
Maes Howe.
