Accommodation

Our magnificent Grade II Listed stone-built cottage is stylishly furnished and equipped with a range of superb facilities, perfect for a special getaway. This home-from-home is nestled high up in the town, offering some of the most stunning views in the area.

Inside there is a well-equipped kitchen for home-cooking which includes a fridge freezer, dishwasher and range of appliances. On arrival, we even provide a delicious locally sourced hamper to give you a lovely start to your stay. From the window you can enjoy glorious views while cooking up a feast.

Unwind in the elegant living room which offers a modern style and glorious statement wallpaper, plus comfortable seating and an electric fire. Dine in the wonderful dining room which adjoins the kitchen and comes complete with Scandinavian style furniture, a traditional fireplace and rich colours on the wall. A large French window offers superb views across the garden and across Richmond.

Upstairs there are two beautiful bedrooms. Both bedrooms have a zip and link bed which can be made into twins and offers outstanding views from the windows. The master room includes a TV and both rooms share a gorgeous house bathroom with an opulent free-standing bath and separate shower.

Outside there is a delightful garden which offers a secure suntrap. There is comfy outdoor seating and a BBQ for al fresco dining when the sun is shining. The fire pit is great for huddling around over a few glasses of wine on a summer’s evening.

Visiting Richmond & Exploring North Yorkshire

We are only a leisurely 5-minute walk into the centre of Richmond, home to fascinating museums, majestic historic buildings, a historic cobbled marketplace, interesting shops, lovely pubs and brilliant restaurants. Head to The Station which has an award-winning bakery, cafe and fantastic two-screen cinema. In the evening, savour some great French cuisine at Rustique. You can walk along the scenic trails either side of the River Swales or visit Richmond’s historic castle. Excellent attractions to visit include:
