Visiting Rosudgeon & Exploring Cornwall

At the end of the lane is a Co-op store, a village pub and a fish and chip shop. Buses to Falmouth or to Penzance stop opposite the pub. A mile away is Prussia Cove, famous for its beautiful coastal walks leading to the nearby sandy beaches of Mounts Bay. St Ives is 9 miles away and Penzance is only 5 miles away. There you can stroll down Chapel Street, running from the town centre to the harbour, and explore its quirky mixture of shops, most of which date back to the 18th Century.

The Exchange Gallery in Penzance offers a major contemporary art gallery/space. The Gallery features a range of work from local to international artists. The building itself was altered to include a large bowed glass wall illuminated by 100s of coloured LED lights.

Penlee House Gallery and Museum is a Victorian manor house that houses an art gallery, the town museum and a cafe. The gallery specialises in the Newlyn School artists. The museum upstairs shows displays of local history interest ranging from the Stone Age onwards. An extensive photographic collection is also available.
