If you're looking for self-catering holiday accommodation in a fabulous location, Dalmunzie Estate in Glenshee, Perthshire has it all. Our seven cottages are set amongst the spectacular scenery of a beautiful 6,500 acre highland estate. The cottages are traditionally stone built, are up to Visit Scotland 3 star, have fully equipped kitchens, washing machines, fridge freezers, Sky free to air TVs, DVD or video players, and open fires with free logs.
We have a nine hole golf course for all standards of golfer - the highest in Perthshire - as well as tennis court, a stocked trout loch, burn fishing, stalking, clay pigeon shooting, walking, skiing just five miles away and much more. We are also perfect for touring with castles, distilleries, other activities, shopping all within easy reach.
Of course, with real fires and a bookcase in every cottage, you could just enjoy the tranquil setting and choose to do nothing at all!!
Lochsie Cottage
:Sleeps 2. Located down its own little driveway, it looks away from the farmyard and other cottages towards the golf course and up to the hills. The south facing porch is ideal for eating meals while enjoying the view and perhaps deer, birds of prey or other wildlife. Lochsie is arranged over one floor with original stone walls. The open plan bedroom, living room and sitting room has a log fire, and doors leading to the kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps 4. Gate Lodge North is situated just inside the Gate entrance to the Estate and is semi-detached with Gate Lodge South. Screened by mature trees on two sides, there are lovely views south and east to the Hills of Glenshee. It is on 2 floors with a double bedroom, twin bedded room and bathroom upstairs which are all attractively wood panelled. Downstairs is a sitting room and an open plan kitchen / dining room. Open fire with free logs. Back boiler which helps heat the hot water. TV with Sky free to air, washing machine & tumble dryer, fridge freezer, microwave. Bath. Sleeps 4. Glenlochsie is a bungalow situated to the back of the farm, with spectacular mountain views of Glen Taitneach and Ben Gulabin. Ben Gulabin rises 1,500 feet above Glenlochsie, and is an excellent challenge for walking enthusiasts. Looking through the large triple window from the sofa or dining table, guests regularly see plenty of wildlife including, garden birds, birds of prey and red deer. Glenlochsie is all on one floor and has a kitchen with breakfast table and sitting room with dining table. The accommodation comprises a double bedroom, a twin bedded room and bathroom.
