Accommodation

Our cottages are brimming with character and boast stunning views across Exmoor. You can choose from Bowood Cottage, Corn House and Horseshoe Barn. Corn House and Horseshoe Barn can be booked together to form Linked Cottages (through double soundproof inter-connecting doors, ideal for large family gatherings). The linked cottages sleep up to 13 guests when combined. Bowood Cottage sleeps 6 guests and there is also a self-contained annexe sleeping 2.

All the cottages have been beautifully converted from the original farm buildings, offering a kitchen, dining and sitting room, plus a south facing courtyard. The cottages have a small enclosed garden with patio furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining.

Bowood Cottage

This lovely cottage offers lots of authentic features, including an open fireplace (now with an electric stove), bread oven, oak beams and original slate flagstones. The recently refurbished kitchen is well-equipped with a range of appliances: a double electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, full size fridge/freezer and washing machine, whilst the living area comes with a smart TV. On the first floor are 3 bedrooms: 1 super king which can be made into a twin, 1 twin and a single room with a trundle bed underneath. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Corn House

Our spacious property is great for a relaxing country retreat. A large family kitchen comes with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and a full-sized fridge freezer. It also has a washing machine and a condenser dryer. Unwind in the living room that comes with a flat screen TV and DVD player. Downstairs there is a single bedroom, whilst upstairs there is a double and a single room (including a trundle bed). On the first floor is a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

Horseshoe Barn

This large family barn is ideal for a family or group getaway. The house boasts original oak beams and has a spacious family kitchen with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and a full-sized fridge/freezer. A beamed sitting room has a flat screen TV and DVD player. Bedrooms consist of a downstairs king room adjoining the shower room, plus an upstairs double bedroom and 2 bedrooms with twin beds. Upstairs there is a further bathroom.

Onsite facilities include a large play barn with badminton, table tennis, pool tables, air hockey, children’s games and play equipment.

Visiting Abbotsham & Exploring Devon

This part of the country has something for everyone, including an abundance of glorious walking routes. The local area is renowned for its nature and beaches, including beaches at Westward Ho!, Instow, Saunton Sands and Croyde. The whole family will The Big Sheep, whilst the picturesque village of Clovelly offers a pretty fishing village to explore. Great attractions to visit include:
