Tablot House
Talbot House is the perfect, comfortable cottage for a relaxing holiday.Ideal for families and groups it can sleep five people in a master, twin and single bedroom.
The entrance porch leads into a spacious lounge with original exposed beams and views across the Helton village green. A cosy open fire is available for which logs are provided. The lounge has a 30” LCD TV, DVD player and music system. The open plan dining room has a six seater dining table. There is central heating throughout.
Off the lounge, the fully fitted kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. It has views down the garden to the Lowther Valley.
There is parking for 2 vehicles outside the front door. A cot and high chair are available on request. BBQ provided.
Talbot Studio
Talbot Studio is for a couple.The open plan kitchen/diner is fully fitted with a dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Up the spiral staircase is the lounge. It has a 30” LCD TV, DVD player and central heating. From this room are spectacular views down to the River Lowther and the hills in the east.
Outside is off road parking for 2 vehicles.
Visiting Helton & Exploring Cumbria
Helton is a sleepy village perched on a hillside. It is 3 miles from Ullswater. Lakeland slate and stone cottages predominate. Beautiful walks through the Lowther Estate lead to the neighbouring village of Askham.Penrith is a short drive away and lies outside of the Lake District National Park. It has shops, places to eat and attractions such as Penrith Castle. All around the area are places to walk and cycle.
The rural county of Cumbria is one of the most beautiful in the UK. It has historic sites, outdoor activities and an abundance of attractions. These include:
