Our estate spans 80 acres of private grounds, providing an idyllic backdrop for leisurely walks right from your doorstep.

We offer seven self-catering apartments, each thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay:

Swallows Nest - Sleeps 4

Situated on the first floor, this apartment features a spacious lounge/dining area and an open-plan fully fitted kitchen. The en-suite master bedroom boasts a bath with a shower over it, with both bedrooms offering king-size beds that can be configured as doubles or twins upon request.

Mulberry - Sleeps 2

Located on the ground floor, Mulberry boasts a large kitchen and an open-plan dining area, ideal for couples seeking a self-catering retreat. The spacious lounge area features a large sofa and armchair, leading to a bedroom area with a king-size bed that can be arranged as a double or twin. The en-suite bathroom offers both a walk-in shower and a bath, with French windows opening onto a private deck.

Yewtrees 1 - Sleeps 2

This comfortable studio apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway. Featuring bi-fold doors for added privacy, the bedroom can be configured with either a super king-size bed or two singles. The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area boast French windows, offering views towards the gardens and glimpses of Lake Windermere.

Rose How 1 - Sleeps 2

Accessed via 8 steps leading down to the lower ground floor, this apartment offers a spacious king-size double or twin bedded room with a lounge area and electric fireplace. The en-suite bathroom features a shower over the bath, with French windows leading to the garden.

Rose How 5 - Sleeps 2/3

Accessed via the front door of Rose How cottage, this apartment features a lovely lounge area with bi-fold windows opening onto a balcony with garden views. The bedroom offers a king-size bed, with a bed settee option in the lounge for a third guest if required. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a bath.

Rowan - Sleeps 2

The first studio apartment boasts a decking area and bi-fold windows, with a galley kitchen and dining area leading into the lounge and bedroom area. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and a bath.

Juniper - Sleeps 2

This compact studio apartment features a private outside deck and a super king-size bed or two single beds. The en-suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, with a galley kitchen equipped for self-catering convenience.

The Area

Our estate covers approximately 80 acres, including gardens, grazing land and woodland, all managed organically and sustainably to promote wildlife conservation. There is plenty to see and do in the area including:
