About Angela's Cottage

The property is an early 18th century, stone-built cottage that is adjacent to the owner's house. It is ideally suited to those who enjoy fell walking, with many wonderful walks starting right from the front door.

Our accommodation comprises of:

Well-equipped kitchen area.
Inglenook fireplace.
Oak beam ceilings.
Comfortable bedroom with the option of a large super king size bed or twin beds.
Storeroom for boots, outdoor clothing and equipment.

From the French windows, guests can access a paved patio that overlooks the garden. For those guests who stay in the early springtime, you can enjoy our famous crocus lawn. The panoramic views across the rooftops of Ambleside make this a delightful spot for eating al fresco or simply relaxing and enjoying the many visitors to the bird table.
