Banchory is in beautiful, historic Royal Deeside, The cottage is within short walking distance of Crathes Castle and is only 45 minutes drive of several others including Balmoral. Golf and fishing can be arranged locally and a 15 minute walk gives access to a new sports village with an indoor swimming pool. Nearby attractions include:

Crathes Castle and its renowned walled garden (2 miles).
The Falls of Feugh (2 miles).
Stonehaven Harbour and the dramatic clifftop ruin of Dunnottar Castle (16 miles).
Castle Fraser, Drum Castle, Craiegvar Castle (8-15 miles).
Deeside Activity Centre (8 miles).
For walkers - Scolty Hill (2 miles), Hill of Fare (5 miles), Ben Achie (18 miles) and Lochnagar (40 miles).
There is easy access to many less strenuous country walks including the Deeside Way.

Rates: £350 to £600 per week depending on season.
