Summary

Oaks Farm self catering cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy Shropshire’s beautiful countryside. Our lovely cottage is just outside of Burlton and is within easy traveling distance of the Welsh Marches, the Potteries, Ironbridge Gorge and Telford.

Accommodation

The cottage has two bedrooms, one of which comes with a double bed, side cabinets and wardrobes. The second bedroom has two single beds, side cabinets, chest of draws, large wardrobe and an easy chair. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and under floor heating.

The open plan sitting room/kitchen/dining room comes with two sofas, a coffee table, TV, dining table and chairs. The kitchen area is fully equipped with a range style cooker (two ovens), washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. It is fully central heated. Bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are included. Outside there is a large patio, table, chairs and BBQ.

Guests will also receive a superb welcome pack with everything from tea and coffee to slippers and shampoo.

We are the perfect base to explore the towns of Ellesmere, Shrewsbury and Oswestry. You will love walking around the glacial mere at Ellesmere. Feeding the ducks is a favourite pastime of many visitors or simply sitting admiring the water. You may also like to try and visit Hawkstone Park - a magnificent landscape of caves, cliffs and grottos.

The county town of Shrewsbury is a picturesque affair. The town centre has 600 Listed buildings and lots of independent shops to explore.
