With beautiful views of the Black mountains and Brecon Beacons, this former barn is on a working farm in a very pleasant location four miles north of Brecon. All of our self catering accommodation is situated in an ideal area for walking, cycling, trekking, coarse fishing and bird watching, set amongst the beautiful countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Large groups are always welcome.

Woodland View – Sleeps up to 6

With beautiful views of the Black mountains and Brecon Beacons, this former barn is on a working farm in a very pleasant location four miles north of Brecon.

Converted to a high standard, it has four bedrooms (double and twin) and a shower room on the ground floor and, upstairs; an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with a dishwasher and TV, leading to a room with two single beds and an adjacent double bedroom with super king size zip and link bed (can be used as 2 singles) with en suite shower room. We also have a games room with a pool table. Children are welcome on the farm and there is a garden with barbecue and picnic benches.

Mountain View – Sleeps 2 - 4

Along with our other property, this accommodation has many original features to enhance the character of the building. The living room and electric kitchen area are on the first floor and a spacious bath/shower room and two bedrooms (double and twin) are downstairs. This is also equipped with a TV video, microwave, oil fired central heating and electric fire. The cottage makes an ideal base for a holiday in mid Wales and the selection of sights and activities in the area. The cottage is located just north of Brecon and makes most places in mid Wales just a short drive away. A washing machine and tumble dryer are shared between the two cottages.

Visiting Brecon & Exploring Powys

The local area is a haven for nature lovers, with an abundance of gorgeous scenery and scenic landscapes to see. The whole of the Brecon Beacons National Park is an International Dark Sky Reserve and offers a breathtaking view of the Milky Way. You can also visit picturesque waterfalls at the park or cycle along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal towpath. Further attractions to visit include:

Big Pit National Coal Museum.
Llangorse Multi Activity Centre.
Rhayader & the Elan Valley.
National Botanic Garden of Wales.
Cradoc Golf Club.
