Catboat Cottage in Appledore provides wonderful self catering accommodation in a lovingly restored 200-year-old fisherman's cottage. We are just a stone’s throw from the beach and ideally placed for exploring Devon

Accommodation

Our cottage is equipped to a high standard and full of vintage charm with its feature fireplaces, exposed beams and part exposed stone walls. Sleeping up to 8 people, we are the perfect getaway for families or groups of friends.

We have a comfortable lounge to relax in which comes with an open fire and a smart TV/DVD player. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. The large dining room seats 8.

Bedrooms consist of a king en suite, a king room with a four-poster bed, a twin room and a ground-floor double room with a separate shower. A family bathroom comes with a bath.

Travel cot, high chair, changing mat and small cutlery all provided.

Outside we have an enclosed garden and dining area for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Visiting Appledore & Exploring Devon

We are in a peaceful location, yet only minutes away from the local amenities, including charming waterside pubs & restaurants, galleries and shops. Appledore's Beach is famed for its crab fishing and watersports. The golden sands at Westward Ho! are just 2 miles away or the coastal villages of Clovelly, Hartland Quay are within a short drive. Attractions to visit include:

Tarka Trail.
