Pengwernydd Cottages offer superb self catering accommodation on a family farm in Ystrad Meurig. Based in a gorgeous part of Ceredigion in the peaceful uplands of the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wale, we are ideal for a magical getaway.

Accommodation

The converted holiday cottages are encompassed by the original stone walls which form an attractive courtyard. The utmost care has been taken to preserve the original character of the buildings while providing the comfort and quality you would expect from a five-star holiday rating. The area is self-contained and provides ample parking.

The self catering cottages are all completed to a very high standard. Each has its own private outdoor area with barbeque facilities, whilst the shared outdoor area also has barbeques, seating areas and attractive planting areas. Each cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven/hob, kettle, toaster, quality bedding and a starter pack of washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets x 2, toilet roll x 1. Art workshops on site are available by arrangement - prior booking necessary.

The Barn

This charming property is the largest of the cottages and sleeps up to 6 people in a twin/super-king suite and a first-floor bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Ground floor facilities suitable for wheelchair users.

The Byre

Our delightful cottage sleeps 4 people in a king and twin room. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath.

The Carthouse

This superb cottage sleeps 3 in 1 double and 1 single bed. The ground floor bathroom has a shower over the bath.

The Stable

Our fantastic property sleeps 2 in a double en suite room and includes en suite facilities.

Function and Games Room: The ideal place to bring out the competitive streak in your family! Hours of fun even if it's raining outside, with games of pool or darts and family board games on hand. There is also a piano for family sing-alongs.

Our five-star graded self catering accommodation has an especially welcoming atmosphere. The 200-acre farm has been farmed by the Hopkins family for the past 80 years with the fourth generation already expressing an interest in carrying on the farming tradition.
